He was used in 2020 as a 16mts old and we are starting to see his calves now in 2021. We are not only Impressed but they are exceeding all expectations. QT's Mother Minx is a Washington of brinks daughter who herself is also proving to be a top producer in the Yabba-do herd. QT was Minx's first calf. YABBA-DO QUARTZ 535Q8 (AI) Sire- CB Final Cut 924X Dam- Yabba-Do Malachite 535M5 Quartz carries that typical Final cut fleshing with a silky smooth skin and tropical coat. He was to be retained as the main sire in the Yabba-Do herd. After sustaining a injury to his hind leg as a weaner bull early in joining season, we are only expecting one calf in spring 2021. we are now using him over some select females till semen can be strawed, as his mobility around the paddock is very limited due to his injury. We scanned him at 15mts and he was 90cm2 in the EMA and had a IMF of 5.2. His Dam M5 is a Blackhawk Of Brinks daughter and also a very consistent producer in the herd with Quatrz also being her first calf. We have Quartz in with a select number of females for this spring. |
